Hi, I’m Ana! I’m a wife, a mom, and a creator who believes a little light goes a long way. I started Lovely Little Light because I saw how many women were running on empty, and I wanted a place where we could slow down, make something with our hands, and remember who we are in Christ. Whether you’re here for Creators Club, a workshop, or just a little encouragement, there’s a seat at the table for you. Pull up a chair, friend. We’re so glad you’re here.

But you can make space to slow down in the middle of it. Lovely Little Light invites women to step away from the rush, create with their hands and enjoy a little more intention in everyday life. You don’t need to be an artist or have it all figured out. Just come as you are and let yourself begin.

This is where creativity becomes a rhythm, not a one-time thing. Six months, one table, the same faces month after month. We gather, we learn something new with our hands, and we slow down together — no perfection required, just come as you are and pull up a chair.

Hi, I'm Ana — former middle school teacher, lifelong creative, and firm believer that you are far more creative than you think you are.
I started Lovely Little Light with some canvases and paint from Walmart, never expecting it to become what it is today. I would consider myself an accidental entrepreneur because what started out of a need to cut back on my Netflix hours in college turned into a business that I can stay home and raise my babies while still helping women feel the joy that comes from learning something new. Since 2019, I’ve had the privilege of teaching thousands of women and creating spaces where creativity feels a little less intimidating and a whole lot more fun - especially when we do it together. Along the way, I also founded the Creators Club, a community of 375+ women who gather each month to slow down, learn something new, and create together.

Over the years, I’ve learned just how powerful making something with your hands can be and realized I wasn’t the only woman craving a creative pause. Through creative gatherings, workshops, and resources for home, I get to help women make creativity easier to start and harder to put down in the middle of a busy life.

I believe creativity is part of how we reflect the God who made us. My hope is that the time you spend here encourages you to create more, live more intentionally, and let the light God has given you shine into the people and places around you.

Since 2022, women have gathered around the Creators Club table each month to try something new—calligraphy, embroidery, floral arranging, pottery, baking, and more. No experience required. You don’t even have to consider yourself creative. That’s the fun of it. The projects change every round, but what stays the same is simple: everything you need, step-by-step guidance, no perfection required, and a room full of women creating alongside you. You just show up and belong.

Lovely Little Light is a creative community that helps women slow down, learn new skills, and build meaningful connections through hands-on experiences. Our signature offering, Creators Club, brings women together once a month for six months to create, connect, and try something new. We also offer creative workshops, retreats, private events, and at-home resources.
Creators Club gathers women in communities throughout Iowa and beyond. Each group meets monthly at local businesses for hands-on creative experiences. Visit our Creators Club page to explore current locations and availability.
Yes! Lovely Little Light is a Christian-founded business rooted in the belief that God created us to create. Our faith shapes the heart behind what we do, from encouraging intentional living to cultivating meaningful relationships. While our mission is rooted in faith, women of ALL backgrounds and beliefs are welcome to gather and create with us.
Not at all! Our creative experiences are designed for beginners and seasoned makers alike. We provide the instruction, materials, and encouragement you need to try something new. You don't have to consider yourself creative to belong here. Just come as you are, and we'll create together!
